  1. 1.Create a list/chart of major battles of the American Revolution. Include where they took place and what the outcome was.

  2. List must include 10 battles of the war

  3. Battle location

  4. Battle outcome

  5. Final draft form (chart, typed/pen, spelling, neat)

  6. 2.Create a map showing information from your chart.

  7. Must be larger than computer paper (11” x 17” at smallest)

  8. Title

  10. Key

  11. 10 Battles identified by location and victor

  12. Consider showing paths the army took from battle to battle

  13. 3.Write a summary report on one of the battles.

  14. Introduction: Getting the reader’s attention and introducing the topic

  15. Body (Three paragraphs): Include enough detail about the battle to make it interesting and informative. Each paragraph should be clear and contain an important point about your topic; each sentence should be related, necessary, and clearly is expressed in your own words

  16. Conclusion: This should be one paragraph and should summarize the important/significant points of your topic.

Your final draft must be typed with correct spelling and proper grammar. Suggested display: Tri-fold display board with a large map in the middle.

Digital History: This is another online history textbook, but it may be better than the above.

Liberty - The American Revolution: This is a great interactive web site through PBS.
