  1. 1.Choose one person from the Revolution to focus upon and write a paper on his/her life, specifically on their contributions during the Revolutionary period

  2. Must have a title page including the title (really...), author’s name, picture of the subject

  3. Introduction: Getting the reader’s attention and introducing the topic

  4. Body: Includes early life, War year’s contributions, and post-War year’s contributions. This needs to be both accurate and detailed, explaining why this person is an important part of this chapter in American History

  5. Conclusion: Should summarize the significant points

  6. Final draft must be typed with proper grammar and correct spelling

  7. 2.Create a timeline of the major events in his/her life

  8. Must include 10 events from the person’s life

  9. Information must be creatively displayed

  10. Professionally completed (neat, typed, accurate information, correct spelling)

Give the subject his or her due credit through this biography. I want to feel like I just met the person after reading your biography.

Refer to the rubric for how this will be graded.

Digital History: This is another online history textbook, but it may be better than the above.

Liberty - The American Revolution: This is a great interactive web site through PBS.

American Memory, Library of Congress: Searching is difficult, but once you find what you’re looking for...Jackpot!
