  1. 1.Create a political cartoon explaining an aspect of the war
  2. Cartoon must focus on a topic relevant to the American Revolution

  3. Must be creative and original

  4. Cartoon must look professional (does not need color)

  5. 2.Write a “Public Pulse” (Opinion Essay/Letter to the Editor) from either a Patriot or Loyalist perspective

  6. Must be focused on an aspect of the War

  7. Essay clearly states the purpose of the letter

  8. Factual information is used to back up the reader’s perspective and is relevant to the topic

  9. Essay must have a title and an author name/pseudonym

  10. Final draft must be typed and have proper grammar and correct spelling

  11. 3.Create a crossword puzzle

  12. Must utilize at least 15 words from the Revolution

  13. Clues must be clearly stated and accurately answered

  14. Final draft format must be typed with correct spelling and with proper grammar

  15. Answer key must be included

Feel free to utilize a Pages newsletter template to assist you in the creation of a great-looking newspaper. Try not to change too much of that template, as it may start to look non-quality.

An Outline of American History: This is an online history textbook. Probably just as helpful as your book.

Digital History: This is another online history textbook, but it may be better than the above.

Liberty - The American Revolution: This is a great interactive web site through PBS.

American Memory, Library of Congress: Searching is difficult, but once you find what you’re looking for...Jackpot!
