The Judicial Branch

 

The Judicial Branch is responsible for interpreting the Constitution and the laws that Congress passes. A very complex court system functions to make sure that no new laws go against the Constitution. At the top is the well-known Supreme Court. This is the highest court in the United States. Only changing the Constitution will override a Supreme Court decision.
