Mr. Lawrence Bruce

As an educator it’s important to have a presence. As a teacher who has earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology, it’s important to have an online presence. So here is the portal to what I have to offer.

At left are a set of links to my various web sites. They are intended to be self-explanatory, but here is a brief description of what you will find:

  1. My professional portfolio serves as my curriculum vitae - an online record of my pursuits as an educator striving through further education.

  2. My U.S. History Site is for students and parents. There are various resources and links to activities. A related link is the Moodle link. There, on our course management system, are all of the online assignments, activities, discussions, etc., that take place in our hybrid online/face-to-face classroom.

  3. Mr. Bruce’s History Page at Wikispaces is our outlet to the world. Student projects often are work toward the wiki which may serve as an online resource.

  4. “Student Work” highlights some of the best that has come  through that falls outside the wiki realm and have needed to be digitized for display.

  5. Lastly, we had a member of our staff recently apply for citizenship. In order to facilitate a school-wide movement in support, I created a site that explained naturalization, an important civic right, as it related to our unique situation.

Here’s the Deal...
