Who is Mr. Brown?

High School - I graduated from East Kentwood High School in 1997.  While in high school, I participated in Soccer, Basketball, and Track and Field.

College - I went to Grand Rapids Community College for 1 year and then transfered to Western Michigan University. There, I majored in Business Education and minored in Physical Education.  I graduated in 2002 with my bachelors degree.  This past summer, I finished my masters classes and now have a Masters in Educational Technology from Western Michigan University. 

Post-College - In the Summer of 2002, I got engaged to be married, moved to Battle Creek, and got a job here...at Union City High School. 

Sports I Coach - Track and Field.

Family - I got married in July of 2003 to a beautiful young lady, who is now a critical care nurse at Battle Creek Health Systems, named Noelle.   (I can’t believe I married a Spartan graduate).  On January 19, 2006, my daughter...Katelyn Noelle was born.  Katelyn loves the University of Michigan!

Spare Time Favorites - In the summer, I enjoy playing golf, going fishing, and watching sports.  I am well aware of the fact that the University of Michigan is the best college sports team in the land..GO BLUE!
